Ultrasound Technologist

Schedule

Variable 10-hour shifts from 06:30 AM to 04:30 PM, with opportunities for on-call during the night shift. Start times may vary between 6:30 AM and 11:00 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform a variety of ultrasound procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in various specialties and a strong focus on patient care. This position requires the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while leveraging advanced imaging technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations including but not limited to abdominal, vascular, and obstetric scans.
• Ensure high-quality imaging and safety protocols are followed during procedures.
• Review and validate patient histories prior to examinations.
• Document findings accurately within the electronic charting system, preferably Epic.
• Provide support to patients and their families throughout the imaging process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of charge experience in ultrasound imaging.
• Required certifications: ARDMS, ARRT R*, BLS, RVT*, and ARDMS in at least one category.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Previous experience in a community hospital or LTAC setting is required.
• Experience with trauma imaging is preferred (Level I or II).
