Senior Payment Strategy Consultant

You will advise customers along the entire payment transaction value chain. You will work on challenging issues and develop practical solutions. Typical specialist topics include Card and account-based payment methods (e.g. SEPA, cards, wallets, instant payments) Payment schemes, acquiring, issuing and network operator models Regulations in payment transactions (e.g. PSD2/PSD3, EBA guidelines, scheme rules) Business and operating models of payment service providers and banks Optimization of payment processes, cost structures and revenue models Support for market entries, tenders and transformation projects You work closely with decision-makers at specialist and management level and take responsibility for sub-projects or complete workstreams. The profile we are looking for : You have sound experience in payment transactions and would like to contribute your expertise to a highly specialized consultancy. Ideally you are characterized by: Several years of professional experience in the payment environment (e.g. bank, PSP, scheme, network operator, consulting) Very good understanding of payment processes, market roles and regulatory framework conditions Analytical strength as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working Strong communication skills and a confident manner in relation to different stakeholders High self-motivation, quality standards and interest in complex technical topics Willingness to travel on projects and work from home Very good knowledge of German and English With us, you can expect a welcoming and collaborative company culture built on respect, trust, and openness.
