Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) The Hero Clinic is hiring an in-house, full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support pediatric clients in a collaborative diagnostic + therapy clinic. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work with kids and thrives on consistency, teamwork, and measurable progress. Key Responsibilities Provide speech therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP), following established plans of care Support pediatric goals such as articulation/speech sound production, receptive & expressive language, social communication, and functional communication Prepare session materials, assist with data collection, and help track progress toward goals Complete timely documentation and communicate clearly with the supervising SLP and clinic team Reinforce caregiver education and home practice strategies as directed by the supervising SLP Qualifications SLPA certification/licensure eligible to practice in Missouri (per state requirements) Pediatric experience preferred (clinic, school, or early intervention) Strong organization, reliability, and a warm, child-centered approach Schedule & Location Full‑time, on‑site / in‑house role (not remote) #J-18808-Ljbffr The Hero Clinic
