Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and assigned security-related duties at the location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random patrols of galleries, exhibit areas, public spaces, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify concerns and support site policies. Monitor visitor activity and assist with directing foot traffic, checking authorized access points, and addressing policy questions in a professional manner. Support emergency response activities and assist with documenting incidents, daily activity, and security-related observations as required by Allied Universal and/or site leadership. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
