This position involves assisting with the daily maintenance of docks, providing excellent customer service to boaters, and supporting the overall safety and cleanliness of the marina.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with docking and undocking boats safely and efficiently
• Fuels boats in a safe manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the docks and surrounding marina areas
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, painting, and minor repairs
• Monitor and report any safety hazards or equipment issues to marina management
• Provide general support to marina staff as needed to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• May be required to take a boaters safety course upon hire
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting and carrying heavy items
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
• Previous marina, boating, or dockhand experience is a plus but not required
