Description Position: Housekeeper Reports to: Housekeeping Manager Position starts at $18 per hour. Final rate based on experience. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:40 AM - 4:40 PM Job Title: Hive Collective Housekeeping Associate Job Summary: The Hive Collective Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness across all Hive Collective locations and managing housekeeping tasks to ensure a high standard of cleanliness in various facilities. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization in Hive facilities, including McCann Design, Hive Home, Hive Collections, Hive Trade, Hive Bed & Bath, and more. Other buildings may be added as needed.
- Dusting: Dust all furniture and gifts in all locations at least once a month (excluding the warehouse, 1813, and 1817).
- Mopping: Mop floors in Hive Home, McCann Design, and Hive Trade at least once a week (excluding the warehouse, 1813, and 1817).
- Vacuuming: Vacuum floors in Hive Collections once a week. Vacuum floors in offices at least once a month.
- Bathrooms: Clean and maintain bathrooms at least once a week.
- Kitchens: Clean and maintain kitchens at least once a week.
- Apparel: Wear Hive-branded polo shirts (5 shirts will be provided) along with your own dark pants or leggings and black sneakers each day.

- Attention to Detail - Ensures accuracy in inventory counts, product placement, and paperwork verification.
- Time Management - Works efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.

- Problem-Solving - Identifies and reports discrepancies or issues proactively.
- Accountability - Takes ownership of tasks, ensuring receiving processes are completed from start to finish.
- Adaptability - Responds well to changing priorities and works effectively under pressure.
- Initiative - Takes proactive steps to maintain organization and improve efficiency in the receiving area.
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper use of cleaning equipment, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Good communication skills and ability to report issues to supervisors.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to move and arrange furniture or equipment as needed for cleaning.
- Capable of working in various environments, including offices, kitchens, and bathrooms.
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies safely.
- Good physical stamina and endurance to perform repetitive tasks throughout the day.
