Water Operations Supervisor

Hays + Sons wants to hire YOU as a full-time Water Operations Supervisor.

We're looking to expand our Cincinnati mitigation team by incorporating an additional layer of field supervision.

Description:

Without direct people leadership responsibility, this role will assist in the technical aspect of running field crews.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee field crews throughout all stages of the project lifecycle, including dispatching teams every morning
• Ensure proper protocol is consistently followed per IICRC guidelines
• See that quality and cleanliness of work meets H+S guidelines
• Lead on-site team on all large multi-family, commercial and high profit losses
• Inspect ongoing jobs to ensure quality of work (including initial inspection on large/commercial jobs).
• Provide on-going technical training and support to team
• Uphold same day communication standard and superior customer service
• Assist with holding team accountable to consistent and regular DASH utilization
• Provide professional and technical competence in all aspects of water mitigation department
• Inspect and estimate potential mold remediation opportunities
• Participate in weekly production meetings
• Provide feedback on field performance for annual evaluations
• Attend manager meetings as needed
• Assist in review and approval of weekly timesheets (including proper job cost allocation)
• Oversee and coordinate emergency response efforts
• Assist in estimate writing as necessary
• Maintain all vehicles in emergency services fleet (water trucks and water transits)
• Review, code, and turn in all invoices within 2 business days of received date
• Ensures that all safety policies, rules and regulations are followed and enforced.

Qualifications:

• IICRC certifications required - WRT/ASD at a minimum, AMRT strongly preferred
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
• Successfully pass a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report background check
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Ability to be on-call 24 hours a day, on a rotating schedule
• Comfortable lifting and moving heavy equipment throughout a structure
• 4+ years of restoration industry, construction, or maintenance experience required

Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 per year
