Ace Home Care is a growing home care agency based in Wilmington, Delaware, dedicated to providing compassionate, reliable in-home support to seniors and individuals with disabilities. As we continue to expand, we are seeking PRN (as-needed) caregivers who are available to start immediately.

This role is ideal for caregivers looking for flexible opportunities while still building consistent, meaningful client relationships.

Position Overview

At Ace Home Care, we take a thoughtful matchmaking approach, pairing caregivers with clients based on compatibility, needs, and preferences. Our goal is to create consistent, long-term caregiver-client relationships whenever possible—rather than constantly rotating shifts.

PRN caregivers are part of our active roster and are contacted as new client cases become available, with the opportunity to be matched with a client for ongoing care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:

  • Bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Toileting and incontinence care.
  • Feeding and meal assistance.
  • Mobility and transfers.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
• Communicate effectively with the care team regarding client needs and updates.

Pay:

• $16-$17 per hour , based on experience and level of care required.
• Higher needs cases = higher pay.
• Companion/lower-needs cases = standard rate.

Requirements:

• Prior caregiving experience preferred (home care, CNA, or similar).
• Ability to assist with personal care tasks.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and dependability.
• Availability to begin accepting client placements within 30–60 days.
