Sr Data Engineer

Responsibilities Develop large‑scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data to generate insights and address reporting needs. Write ETL processes, design database systems, and develop tools for real‑time and offline analytic processing that improve existing systems and expand capabilities. Collaborate with the Data Science team to transform data and integrate algorithms and models into automated processes. Test, maintain, and troubleshoot systems and malfunctions. Leverage knowledge of Hadoop architecture, HDFS commands, and query optimization to build data pipelines. Utilize programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages to build robust data pipelines and dynamic systems. Build data marts and data models to support Data Science and other internal customers. Integrate data from a variety of sources and ensure adherence to data quality and accessibility standards. Analyze current IT environments to identify critical capabilities and recommend solutions to complex business problems. Experiment with available tools and advise on new tools to provide optimal solutions that meet the model/use‑case requirements. Requirements Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or Financial Analytics, Information Systems, or Quantitative Analytics, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. CI/CD and GIT Python and Agile methodologies Teradata Docker and Kubernetes Rally Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Hadoop, SQL, and Tableau Spark, Airflow, PySpark, and HDFS Contributing to large‑scale applications development, data science, or data analytics projects Data analytics on large data sets in healthcare, business, or retail sector Cloud components including cluster management Big data implementation Supporting large data, analytics, and technology modernization initiatives Compensation and Pay Pay Range: $130,832.00/year to $185,400.00/year. This position is eligible for a bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to base pay, and includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
