Shipping and Receiving Clerk

The Warehouse Palletizer is responsible for stacking, arranging, and securing products onto pallets for storage or shipment. This role ensures that goods are prepared efficiently, safely, and accurately to support smooth warehouse operations and timely order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure pallets are built securely and meet weight distribution and stability requirements.
• Wrap, label, and prepare pallets for shipping or storage.
• Inspect products for damage or defects before palletizing.
• Maintain accurate records of pallet counts and completed orders.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks and staging pallets in designated areas.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
• Follow warehouse safety protocols and comply with OSHA standards.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Essential Skills

• Experience in shipping and receiving.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and palletizing techniques.
• Ability to lift cases of wine/alcohol, up to 50-60 lbs.
• Proficiency in pallet building and shrink wrapping.
• Experience with loading trucks, picking, put away, and using RF Scan gun.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Capability to stand for long periods of time.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edison, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
