Job Requirements

• Active physician license and eligibility to practice in the state of Mississippi
• Board certification required
• Fellowship training preferred or required in a related specialty area
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience preferred
• Ability to manage both clinic-based and hospital-based cardiology coverage
• Comfortable caring for a high-acuity patient population

Responsibilities

• Provide internal medicine and interventional cardiology coverage across clinic and hospital settings
• Evaluate and manage approximately 20 patients per shift
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy clinical environment
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure smooth continuity of coverage
• Complete documentation and clinical assessments in a timely and accurate manner
• Support inpatient and outpatient cardiology needs as assigned
