MHM Support Services
Position Details Education: Master’s in Social Work (required). For Social Worker IIs hired after 12/25/2011, the degree must be completed and conferred by the educational facility. Social Worker IIs hired before December 2011 met previous education requirements. Licensure Current license in Social Work in the state of employment (LMSW or LCSW). Experience Minimum 0–2 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting. Preferred Certification/Registration None specified. Skills & Knowledge Strong verbal and written communication and facilitation skills. Strong assessment, time management, and critical thinking skills. Advanced computer skills. Assessment, care, and treatment tailored to age‑related needs of patients; competent with neonatal/infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Knowledge of human behavior and clinical aspects of medical social work. Ability to interact effectively with a variety of people and situations at all organizational levels. Valid driver’s license and current motor vehicle registration.
