Counsellor on Placement Stewards Academy

Responsibilities Provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in partner schools, offering up to three one‑to‑one counselling sessions per week on a minimum of one day per week. Attend daily clinical supervision and complete a comprehensive induction programme. Participate in tailored training workshops and optional professional development sessions. Keep accurate clinical records and contribute to clinical hour logs for accreditation. Support the partnership between school staff and mental health services. Qualifications Fully qualified Counsellor or Therapist at Diploma (Level 4 or above) or Degree/MSc/MA level. For early‑year candidates: completion of a full academic year Certificate Course in Counselling or equivalent of 9–12 months. Relevant experience working with children and young people. Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) or Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check, enhanced and registered on the Update Service. #J-18808-Ljbffr Place2be
