Business Development Manager

Outstanding Business Development Manager Role available with a premier chemical manufacturer with a reputable history on a global scale! This agenda will be fostered by the identification and development of new opportunities either through new markets with existing products, and/or new product development for existing or new markets or through the extension of the service proposed to existing customers. In addition, this role will be responsible for developing valued‑added goods/services to be leveraged in the marketplace. This will be a nationwide territory with an emphasis on the Gulf Coast and East Coast. Responsibilities Identify and develop new opportunities in existing and new markets for existing products or new products. Develop valued‑added goods/services to be leveraged in the marketplace. Expand the service proposal to existing customers. Focus on a nationwide territory, with emphasis on the Gulf Coast and East Coast. Engage in contract negotiation, presentation, and relationship building to secure new business and manage key accounts. Qualifications Strong sales experience in the natural gas, oil and/or gas industries. Proven success in new business development and key account management. Strong relationship building, contract negotiation, time management, and presentation skills. Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in project management, application development, and sales/marketing. A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field, coupled with strong commercial experience. Very strong technical background coupled with breadth of business development experience. Additional Information Compensation for this role will be commensurate with experience.
