Application Engineering Co-op

Salary: $45,760 - 47,840 per year Requirements:

• We are seeking candidates currently pursuing a four-year Mechanical Engineering degree with at least two years completed and strong academic standing, typically a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• We prefer junior or senior class standing.

• We support the integration of existing products into new applications with guidance from management and an assigned engineer mentor.
• We model and draft concepts into designs that can be tested.
• We perform computer-aided analysis of new concepts using FEA and/or CFD.
• We test materials and concepts, partnering with the test lab to plan tests and document findings.
• We develop test methods to evaluate product function and quality, as well as new ideas or changes to existing products.
• We provide technical input to improve existing product designs and approve design revisions.
• We assist with modifying existing products to meet customer requirements while maintaining product performance and quality.
• We take on additional duties as assigned.
