divh2Lowbed CDL A Driver/h2pWe are seeking an experienced Lowbed CDL A Driver to safely and efficiently transport heavy construction equipment using lowbed trailers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of DOT regulations, securement procedures, and be able to load/unload a variety of heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and more./ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliOperate a commercial vehicle (Class A) with lowbed trailer to transport heavy equipment to and from job sites./liliSafely load, secure, and unload equipment using chains, binders, and other tie-down methods in accordance with FMCSA regulations./liliInspect vehicle and trailer before and after each trip; perform basic maintenance or report issues./liliEnsure all transport documents and logs are completed accurately and submitted on time./liliMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations (e.g., DOT, HOS)./liliCommunicate effectively with dispatch, customers, managers, and equipment operators regarding scheduling and delivery expectations./liliFollow company safety policies and procedures at all times./liliMay be required to assist with equipment operation or yard duties as needed./li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliExperience with oversize/overweight loads./liliTWIC card (preferred)./liliMechanical aptitude for basic troubleshooting./li/ulpCompensation Benefits:/pulliCompetitive hourly (based on experience)/liliHealth, dental, and vision insurance/liliSimple IRA with company match/liliPaid time off and holidays/li/ulpRequirements:/pulliValid Class A CDL with a clean driving record./liliMinimum 1 year of lowbed or heavy haul experience./liliExperience hauling and securing heavy construction equipment./liliKnowledge of DOT, HOS, and load securement requirements./liliAbility to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, or weekends as needed./liliPhysically able to lift, climb, kneel, and work outdoors in various weather conditions./liliAbility to read and understand maps, GPS, permits, and load instructions./li/ul/div
