The Buffalo Grove Park District is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Clubhouse team, providing before and after school care for elementary‑aged children. Mandatory Paid Training Dates: August 6 – August 7, 2026. Position Summary The Clubhouse Recreation Leader is responsible for supervising and engaging participants in daily program activities at their assigned Clubhouse location. Responsibilities include leading games, crafts, and recreational activities; assisting with snack setup and cleanup; supporting lesson plan implementation; and helping create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all participants. The ideal candidate is mature, responsible, enthusiastic, and enjoys working with children. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, as Recreation Leaders regularly interact with participants, families, coworkers, and school personnel. Positions are available at the following locations: Country Meadows Ivy Hall Kildeer Kilmer Longfellow Meridian Prairie Pritchett Tripp Willow Grove Morning Shift 6:45 AM – 7:45 AM, 8:15 AM or 9:00 AM Afternoon Shift 2:15 PM, 2:45 PM or 3:15 PM - 6:00 PM Starting Wage $16.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
