LFG designs, builds and manages power infrastructure for compute systems and utility providers. We are engaging a Mechanical Technician to install, maintain and repair cooling and mechanical systems during construction and operation of our data center sites. Cooling has to run without interruption, so careful, well-documented work is essential.
What you will do- Install and maintain chillers, air handlers, pumps, cooling towers, piping, valves and controls.
- Carry out preventive maintenance on schedule.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults.
- Assist with equipment startup and commissioning.
- Monitor water treatment and report readings outside normal limits.
- Carry out work in live facilities under approved written procedures.
- Record completed work in the maintenance system.
- 4 or more years of commercial or industrial HVAC or mechanical work.
- EPA 608 Universal certification.
- Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams.
- Familiarity with building management systems.
- Any state license or certification required for the work performed.
- Data center or other critical facility experience.
- Experience with large chilled water plants.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
- Must be willing to travel to other LFG locations
- On site at construction sites and operating facilities, including rooftops and mechanical yards
- Climbing ladders, working at heights, lifting up to 50 pounds and wearing protective equipment
- Some night or weekend work
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range:
$55.00 - $85.00 per hour
