RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Travel Cath Lab RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

10-hour days, 6:45 AM - 5:00 PM, call required at least two days per week and one weekend per month.

The Travel Cath Lab RN will work in the cardiac lab, recovery, and preoperative areas, aiding with tech duties as needed. The Registered Nurse will focus on patient care and collaboration in a busy environment, ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures and patient recovery.
• Utilize skills in Impella insertion, balloon pumps, device implantation, and peripheral cases.
• Conduct cardioversions, EVLT, and TEE as needed in the holding area.
• Work collaboratively with tech staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2+ years of experience in cardiac lab settings.
• Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred.
• Active RN license required.
