Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and document the respiratory status of NICU patients, including neonates on mechanical ventilation or non-invasive support.
- Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot neonatal ventilators and related respiratory equipment per orders; monitor alarms and patient responses.
- Administer prescribed inhaled medications and therapies; manage humidification and aerosolized treatments for neonates.
- Perform airway clearance techniques and chest physiotherapy as ordered; support patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor oxygenation and ventilation parameters and track trends in blood gases; communicate changes with the NICU team.
- Maintain and sanitize equipment, ensuring infection control standards are followed; participate in rounds and handoffs.

Requirements
- Active Georgia RRT license
- NBRC - RRT credential
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU respiratory therapy experience
- Ability to work effectively in a neonatal ICU setting
