Shipping Associate

Yoh is looking for a Shipping Associate to join our Biotech/Pharma client in their state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing building. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of how material is received, moved, and shipped within an organization. Industry: Bio Tech/ manufacturing (Supply Chain) Location: Pleasanton, CA Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Compensation: $22–$26 per hour, DOE Type: 6‑month contract Estimated Min Rate: $17.50 per hour Estimated Max Rate: $25.00 per hour Responsibilities Ensure incoming packages are inspected, counted, and delivered to the end user in a timely manner. Maintain inventory recording, labeling, and placement of materials in stock based on designated inventory locations. Manage general lab supplies for Production and R&D to prevent stockouts. Pick and pack temperature‑sensitive and ambient goods in preparation for delivery to internal and external customers, working in a –40‑degree environment for periods of time. Process PO receipts and inventory movement forms through our ERP system. Assist with cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Be comfortable working in a cold‑room freezer environment minus 20 degrees (with jacket). Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. 2–5 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics setting; experience in Pharma/Biotech manufacturing with material handling equipment preferred. Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment. Ability to multi‑task and excel in a fast‑paced environment, following instructions and working independently with minimal guidance. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, bend, and lift heavy materials up to 50–70 lbs. Must be able to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and relevant warehouse management ERP software (Oracle preferred). Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.
