Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Lubbock, Texas. Job Summary Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) care is needed in Lubbock, Texas. This position involves providing high-level patient care to adults with complex medical needs, including multisystem organ dysfunction, trauma, and post-surgical recovery. Candidates must bring their valid licensing to the first day of assignment and meet the experience requirements specified to qualify for this role. Job Details Location: Lubbock, Texas Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Shift Time: Nights Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week Float: Float rotation may be required. Required Qualifications: Valid Compact State License must be in hand at submission. 2-3 years ICU experience, minimum of 1.5 years charge nurse experience, proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, multisystem organ failure, arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management (BiPAP/CPAP), ABG interpretation, and suctioning (ETT, NT). Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; NIHSS if applicable. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac and neuro patient care, general surgery, and trauma. Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours minimum per week. Additional Information: Candidates must commit to working three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). References covering the past 1 year (6 months for CNAs) are required during compliance, prior to start. Vaccinations: COVID-19 vaccine not required; Flu vaccine status unknown.
