Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Description

Job Summary:
Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures with accuracy and technical proficiency to support patient care. Collaborate with medical staff to deliver high-quality imaging services in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities:

Operate and troubleshoot GE E95 and Philips Epiq echocardiography equipment.
Perform adult transthoracic, transesophageal, bubble, and contrast echocardiograms, ensuring detailed and structured reports.
Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures, adhering to unit guidelines.
Document procedures accurately using Meditech and CCW EMR systems.
Communicate effectively with staff and providers to coordinate care and share findings.
Follow protocol for on-call coverage, including rotating weekends and night shifts.

Qualifications:

Hold at least 6 months of recent experience as an Echo Tech in an acute care setting.
Certified with BLS and RCS credentials.
Demonstrate pediatric echocardiography experience (preferred).
Have ARDMS certification (preferred).
Possess prior Meditech system experience (preferred).
Exhibit strong teamwork, flexibility, and patient-focused attitude.
