This individual has the proven skills, competencies and capacity to ensure accuracy of integrity records, vendor performance, and process improvement.What you’ll doReview and validate data submitted by NDE Technicians to verify completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established standards and procedures.Track any data errors identified during the review process and communicate detailed feedback to the NDE Technicians for correction.Provide guidance and assistance to new interns and Co-ops to help them navigate through theworkflow process.Maintain communication with NDE vendors and engineers to resolve any issues or discrepancies in the data and reports.Troubleshoot data entry and functionality within IFRs.Track and follow up on any missing documents required for the IFR.Organize notes, daily assignments, and maintain a comprehensive tracking system for all IFRs worked on.Prioritize IFRs as per request, ensuring timely processing and finalization of critical reports.Track uncompleted IFRs and those that need correction from NDE vendors.Maintain detailed documentation and records of all review, validation, and communication activities.Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations, industry standards, and company policies related to NDE data management and report finalization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and implement best practices.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline4+ years of relevant industry experience Exposure to applicable industry codes and standards (CFR 192, ASME B31.8 etc.)Familiarity with pipeline integrity terminology and relevant NDE Methods/ProcessesStrong exposure to conducting direct examination of pipeline defects in excavationsKnowledge of pipeline repair methodologies and associated record keeping requirementsFamiliarity with using GIS Tools such as ArcGIS, Google Earth, etc.Preferred QualificationsWorking knowledge and exposure to various inspection technologies used in pipeline integrity assessmentsExposure to SQL and Databases as a userThis position requires candidates to:Demonstrated ability to succeed in a changing environment with sound decision making, judgment and independent action is required in line with regulation, company policies and procedures, company values and business objectives and targets.Proven analytical and critical thinking skills with a pro-active approach to problem identification and resolutionProven team player with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and to develop and maintain collaborative working relationshipsProven interpersonal and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to initiate change and help others adapt to a continuously changing environmentDemonstrated ability to create and sustain critical partnershipsAbility to work independentlyAbility to manage team members in remote locationsTravel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings or training (estimated up to 25% of work schedule)Be part of an on-call rotation and provide emergency support as requiredTo remain competitive, support our high-performance culture and allow for more flexibility in the way we work, we offer a hybrid work model and flexible dress code for our eligible office-based workforce in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. #LI-HybridAbout our businessWe are a leader in North American energy infrastructure, spanning Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.
