Experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist Needed

We are hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Asheville, NC. The clinician will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment and care for patients with breathing disorders. This role supports acute care services including trauma, stroke, neonatal intensive care, pediatric care, cardiac and cardiothoracic services.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state respiratory care license in good standing.
• One year experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• BLS certification.
• Experience working in an acute care hospital setting, including exposure to trauma, stroke, and pediatric populations (preferred).
• Experience with ventilator management and arterial blood gas interpretation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications such as ACLS or Neonatal/Pediatric Respiratory certifications (preferred).
• Previous experience in a Level II trauma center or comprehensive stroke center (preferred).

• Shift hours: 1830-0700.
• Shift type: Nights.
