ECHOCARDIOGRAPHER PRN

Summary The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for providing diagnostic medical sonography services across various clinical specialties. Must maintain proficiency with echo/ultrasound equipment, communicate with interprofessional care team, complete daily clerical tasks, and provide on‑call coverage as scheduled. The role also serves as an ambassador for the department and the Center by demonstrating exceptional customer service skills. Shift On‑call 11 pm – 7 am. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic medical sonography services and related procedural duties. Maintain proficiency with echo/ultrasound equipment. Communicate effectively with interprofessional care team members. Complete additional clerical and administrative tasks as required. Qualifications Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. RSCS/RCS certification. Successful completion of an echocardiography/cardiovascular education program. Proficiency with transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, bubble studies, and administering contrast‑enhancing agents. Salary Range $42.25 – $42.25 per hour.
