Reports to: Member Experience Director

Positions Supervised: Assistant Branch Manager(s); Branch Representatives

Full-time - Exempt

Job Summary: Branch Manager is a dynamic and enthusiastic leader with a passion for providing exceptional service. The ideal candidate will be member-focused, possess outstanding leadership skills, and have the ability to produce at a high level. This role is responsible for directing and administering the operational efforts of the branch, overseeing the provision of a full range of services to members and prospective members. Additionally, the Branch Manager is trusted to mentor and coach their team, uphold a high level of confidentiality, and perform additional tasks as assigned by the Member Experience Director.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• ·         Assumes responsibility for the effective and efficient performance of branch operations

·         Assumes responsibility for maintaining proper cash controls

·         Effectively supervises branch staff, ensuring optimal performance and exceptional member service

·         Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective, professional business relations with members

·         Ensures operations are conducted in accordance with established Credit Union policies and with legal and regulatory requirements

·         Implements changes to established policies and procedures within the branch

·         Conducts regular meetings with branch employees to discuss areas needing improvement and changes in procedure

·         Tracks individual progress and conducts performance appraisals on each employee as required.  Provides leadership training to employees seeking management opportunities

·         Supports a culture of excellence, competitiveness, and passion for the SunWest brand to

·         deliver an exceptional member experience

·         Provides consistent and ongoing coaching to employees to further develop their skillset and advance along their identified career path

·         Promotes cross-selling efforts by providing clear expectations, setting ambitious goals, and holding team accountable to organizational standards of excellence

·         Perform ADHOC responsibilities as assigned

·         Keeps management apprised of branch activities and/or any significant problems

·         Maintains strict confidentiality, ensuring all pertinent information is kept secure and private.

·         Uphold the compliance requirement of all related federal regulations, including but not limited to; the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering policies and procedures.  Complete annual BSA training requirements as established by SunWest Credit Union

·         Other duties as may be assigned.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

·         High School graduate or equivalent. 

·         4 Year Degree in Business or related field, preferred.

·         5+ years related experience, preferred.

·         5+ years of supervisory experience, preferred.

·         Driver’s license required.

·         Understanding of Credit Union services and products and Credit Union philosophy.

·         Excellent computer efficiency (MS Office/Word/Excel and Outlook).

·         Ability to operate PC and other computer systems and software, including office equipment.

·         Required reports and records are accurate, complete and timely.

Physical Requirements:

·         Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivy standards

·         Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards

·         Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 lbs

·         Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone
