Job Location: HYBRID – In-person in the Washington, D.C./VA Metro area and remote Reports to: Director, People and Culture Compensation: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour (commensurate with experience) Schedule: Part time (20 hours), various days throughout week About the Position We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to attract, engage, and hire exceptional early childhood education professionals and corporate team members who align with Brynmor’s mission and values. This position plays a critical role in building strong, mission-driven teams across our centers and central support functions. This position includes the following responsibilities: Lead full-cycle recruitment for center-based and corporate roles Develop and execute sourcing strategies to build strong candidate pipelines Post positions, manage applicant tracking system, and maintain accurate recruitment data Screen resumes and conducts initial phone interviews Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and center leaders Partner with leadership to understand staffing needs and workforce planning Conduct reference checks and support background check processes Ensure compliance with all state licensing and employment requirements during hiring Represent Brynmor at job fairs, community events, and university recruitment activities Promote Brynmor’s employer brand across recruitment platforms and social media Support onboarding processes to ensure a seamless new hire experience Track and report recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and candidate pipeline data Collaborate with Director of People and Culture to continuously improve recruitment strategies This role will partner with the People & Culture Team as needed in other capacities.
