Job Summary:
The Operating Room Technician (Surgical Technician) position is available in Eureka, California. Candidates are required to bring their California license on the first day. This role involves supporting a busy surgical unit with a variety of complex procedures, including abdominal, cardiovascular, neurological, and orthopedic surgeries. The position offers an 8-hour shift schedule, starting from June 29, 2026.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts with start times at 6:30 AM, 8:30 AM, or 11:00 AM; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: California state license, 2 years of surgical technician experience, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) or NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing) certification, valid CA license, and ability to work shifts from June 29, 2026.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with a wide scope of surgical procedures including cardiovascular, neuro, orthopedic, and robotic-assisted surgeries.
• Float: Float rotation may be required within the facility or to nearby sister facilities.
• Additional Information: Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours. The candidate must be willing to work during major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Submission of 2 references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years is required prior to start.
