Phlebotomist - Full-time

The phlebotomist collects blood specimens from patients and performs other lab duties under the guidance of the medical technologists. Responsibilities of these positions include: Collects specimens from patients of all ages using various collection devices. Monitors orders and collection lists assuring timely collection. Performs waived testing procedures, culture set up and assists in specimen processing. Organizes, restocks, and cleans outpatient drawing area and all carts, trays and hand helds. Requirements of these positions include: High School Diploma or GED required Must productively interact with patients, lab staff, physicians, nursing staff, and related personnel to perform laboratory work and report on results.
