Metal Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Fabricator to join our production team. In this role, you will read blueprints, operate standard fabrication machinery (saws, presses, brakes, laser systems), and fit/assemble high-quality metal components. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision workmanship, maintains a strong focus on safety, and thrives in a collaborative shop environment. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to plan fabrication steps. Measure, cut, grind, fit, and assemble metal components to exact specifications. Operate fabrication equipment, including saws, press brakes, punch presses, and laser cutting systems. Inspect finished parts using precision measurement tools to ensure they meet quality, dimensional, and safety standards. Collaborate closely with production and quality assurance teams to keep schedules on track. Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized workspace at all times. Follow all company safety guidelines, PPE policies, and operational procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned to support shop operations. Qualifications Reliable attendance and strong dependability Ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to read and interpret blueprints Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to read tape measure increments of 1/8", 1/16", and 1/32" Ability to convert fractions to decimals Ability to meet the physical demands of the position Compensation The starting pay range for this position is $18-$22 per hour. Final compensation is based on skills, experience, qualifications, and work location.
