Job Title GCP Solution Architect (Java – GKE Migration) Overview As a Solution Architect, you will lead the end-to-end migration and modernization of enterprise applications from on-premise environments to Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). Key Responsibilities Migration Strategy & Planning (Primary Focus) GKE & Kubernetes Architecture Application Modernization (Java) Containerization & Runtime Engineering DevSecOps & CI/CD Enablement Networking, Security & Compliance Observability & Reliability Engineering Data & Integration Migration Stakeholder Engagement Leadership & Governance Required Skills Java (Core, Spring Boot, Microservices) Messaging frameworks (Kafka, Redis) Cross-platform distributed systems GKE / Kubernetes (mandatory) Containerization (Docker) GCP services (Compute, Networking, IAM, Secrets) On-premises to cloud migration 12‑factor app principles Stateless architecture DevOps & Automation (CI/CD pipeline design, Terraform / IaC) Observability and monitoring Preferred Skills Relational DB (PL/SQL, Oracle, MySQL) NoSQL DB (Document DB, MongoDB, DynamoDB) GCP equivalents (Cloud Bigtable, Firestore) Linux/Unix (RedHat, CentOS, Rocky 9) Certifications: Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) Minimum Years Of Experience 8‑10 years #J-18808-Ljbffr Expedite Talent Solutions
