Brake Operator

Join our team as a Brake Operator where you will be responsible for the operation and manual setup of fabrication machines, specifically the Brake Press. You will use various customer blueprints to produce specialized products, ensuring quality and precision in every task.

• Operate and manually set up fabrication machines, including the Brake Press.
• Interpret and use different customer blueprints for product production.
• Conduct visual inspections of production to identify any defects.
• Utilize various measuring tools to ensure products are made accurately.
• Grind edges and surfaces as necessary.
• Lift up to 50 lbs throughout the workday.

• Experience in machine operation, particularly with Brake Press.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.

• At least 6 months of prior manufacturing experience in a brake press operator role.

Work in a recently updated facility equipped with new machinery. Enjoy a clean, quiet environment with great lighting and an open layout. The building is air-conditioned for your comfort.

You will be working in a metal fabrication and processing plant where steel-toe shoes are required. The dress code is casual, allowing for jeans and a t-shirt. The facility is designed to be comfortable and conducive to productivity.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MADISON LAKE, MN.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
