Job Description

Job Title: Vice President of Investments (Ref job code: VPI 01-26) (Has multiple openings)

Job Location: Soltage, LLC, 333 Washington St, 4th Floor, Suite 401, Jersey City, NJ 07302.

Job Duties:

Leading the valuation and diligence of new solar and storage projects for investments, both organically developed and on an opportunistic basis, being offered in the M&A markets. Supporting and leading the structuring and closing of project finance transactions for all projects. Leading investment committee and credit committee processes. Designing and developing financial models, overseeing funding and portfolio reporting for investors and management, monitoring state and federal renewable incentive programs. Supporting the development team in executing Soltage’s development strategies across geographies. Understanding and modeling different capital structures for solar and storage assets. Manage and mentor a team of Analysts and Associates.

Job Requirements:

Requires Master's degree in Sustainability with Energy Concentration, Quantitative Finance, International Affairs or related field.

Requires nine (9) years of experience in the job offered, Finance Analyst, Energy Investment Analyst or related occupation.

The required experience may be gained before or after Masters degree and must include five (5) years of experience in Renewable Energy Investments, Renewable Energy Financing, Project Finance, Corporate Finance, Comparable Analysis, Infrastructure Investments, Infrastructure Financing, and Microsoft Excel.

This is a Hybrid position with Telecommuting option: Tuesday through Thursday in office; Monday/Friday from home.

Salary: $217,500 to $220,000 per year (Full-time)
