Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 hour night shifts, weekdays from 7 PM to 7 AM, with weekend coverage required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse with Mother/Baby experience. The ideal candidate will have the ability to circulate for C-sections and recognize and treat abnormal fetal heart rate patterns effectively. Strong triage skills for obstetrical patients are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care in the Labor & Delivery unit.
• Support mothers and infants during labor, delivery, and recovery.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to any abnormalities.
• Perform necessary medical procedures and interventions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting using the specified systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA approved).
• NRP certification is necessary.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Charge nurse experience is an asset.
