HHA - Home Health Aide Experienced Personal Care Support in Lorain (Premium Pay)

We're hiring compassionate, dependable Home Health Aides (HHA) for ongoing care positions providing essential in-home support to our clients. This role is ideal for caregivers who are passionate about helping others maintain their comfort, dignity, and independence at home while building meaningful connections with the people they care for. Caregivers in this role will assist clients with needs such as help in the morning, dressed, maybe a shower, and meal prep, ADLs including bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, supervision, redirection, and support with daily routines, as well as provide light housekeeping, companionship, and assistance with everyday activities to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment. Current schedule available is Looking for any day between Monday through Sunday, 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Key Responsibilities Provide assistance with needs such as help in the morning, dressed, maybe a shower, and meal prep, ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, personal hygiene, supervision, and redirection as needed. Support safe mobility and transfers while assisting the client with movement and positioning. Assist with light housekeeping, companionship, and other daily living activities to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment. Offer companionship and emotional support to ensure client comfort, dignity, and well‑being. Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition to supervisors or case managers. Follow the established care plan and maintain clear communication with the care team. Job Responsibilities Provide client‑facing care as assigned Provide assistance with daily tasks as directed in the client's personalized plan of care, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, providing transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping Provide companionship, personal and hygiene care as directed in the client's personalized plan of care, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, and assisting with measurements, if necessary Assist clients with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and document observed changes to the Director of Nursing Adhere to the policies, procedures, and protocols of the agency of employment Adhere to HIPAA laws and ensure confidentiality and security of the client's medical information Job Requirements High school diploma or GED Minimum one (1) year of documented home care assistance and/or direct care experience at an assisted living or skilled nursing facility, etc., is preferred Preferred: Successful completion of a nursing assistant or certified home health aide program Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x‑ray Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance (proof of insurance is required) Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
