Warehouse Associate - Part-time

We are currently seeking a Part-time Warehouse Associate to join our team in Franklin, MA . Your Role at Batesville: As a Part-time Warehouse Associate , you will be responsible for the safe handling of shipments, proper care and handling of inventory, and following safe practices and standard work procedures. The expected pay for this role is $20.50 per hour. Actual compensation within this range may be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, and location. Opportunities for development and advancement What You’ll Do: Perform thorough inspection of each unit to ensure quality. Unload inbound caskets quickly, accurately, safely, and damage free. Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area. Perform various warehouse duties as requested. Operate various powered equipment efficiently and safely. Other duties may be assigned. What You’ll Bring: 1-year prior warehouse or related experience. Basic computer skills. Ability to drive a truck within facility confines and learn how to spot trailers. Dependable, honest, quick learner, good communication skills and team player. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including any days, shift, and weekends to ensure that the customer demand is met. Ability to lift and/or move miscellaneous equipment and product weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and over 100 lbs. occasionally. Nice to Haves: Forklift experience is preferred. Ability to perform and interpret computer and RF functions. Ability to learn new skills at a fast pace.
