A well-established regional hospital is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join its ED team. This role is responsible for providing rapid assessment, critical interventions, and compassionate care to patients experiencing acute illness or injury. Responsibilities
- Perform rapid triage and assessment of patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
- Provide immediate and ongoing care for patients with a wide range of medical conditions and trauma.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and nursing protocols.
- Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure timely treatment.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and clinical findings.
- Support quality and safety initiatives while contributing to a team-focused clinical environment.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in AZ or compact license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Emergency Department nursing experience preferred.
