Medical Office Coordinator (Multi-Site)
Part-Time | 25–30 Hours Per Week
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and patient-focused healthcare professional to support daily operations across multiple outpatient medical offices (between Catkills and Athens). This is a part-time position requiring travel between three clinic locations, so reliable transportation is required.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, enjoys working with patients, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to the needs of each office are essential.
Position Highlights- Part-time position (25–30 hours per week)
- Travel between three medical office locations required
- Mileage reimbursement provided in accordance with company policy
- Daytime weekday schedule
- Supportive and collaborative healthcare team
- Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Coordinate patient visits and assist with daily office workflow
- Answer incoming phone calls and address patient inquiries
- Verify insurance and demographic information
- Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Coordinate communication between providers, patients, and outside healthcare facilities
- Assist with referrals, authorizations, and other administrative tasks as needed
- Help ensure efficient daily operations at each assigned location
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between three office locations are required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
