Job Summary:
Marvin and Betty Danto Health Care Center in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan is seeking an experienced cook to join our culinary team. As a key member of our food services team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious meals to our residents and staff. Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook meals for residents and staff, adhering to established recipes and nutrition standards
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Manage inventory and ordering of food and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels
• Collaborate with dietary team to plan and execute special events and menu changes
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines when handling resident information
Requirements:
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
