Pediatric Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 6:30 PM - 2:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: AMN Program - AdventHealth West Florida and no current placement allowed at Program: AMN Program - AdventHealth West Florida.

Additional Details:
Previous Employment Requirements: You must take a 6 month break between staff and travel for ALL AdventHealth facilities.
Required Skills/Experience: Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement. NICU experience
Shift & Scheduling: 8 Nights or 12 Nights; 630p - 230a or 630p - 7a Weekends: Yes, rotating On call/hours: No
5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 10/31/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
Certifications:
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
