As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You are equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade‑offs in product development with engineers. In this role you will play a pivotal role in shaping the AI user experience, working across a range of components in the stack, including Frontend, Serving, Integrations, and more. Your primary focus will be managing a team of TPMs in the Workspace Intelligence and Workspace Search teams to build AI agent‑driven ecosystems to empower internal 1P and 2Ps to implement faster and higher quality AI results, partnering closely with teams across WS Engineering, PM, and UX to drive improvements across all Workspace apps. You’ll collaborate with teams across Google, including DeepMind and Gemini. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $240,000–$334,000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits. Responsibilities Establish a reliable and visible cadence for portfolio reviews, decision making, prioritization, and resource management, thereby improving measurable impact organization‑wide. Drive measurable program performance gains correlated to execution velocity. Establish governance over prioritization decisions to ensure alignment with key performance indicators. Lead strategic planning frameworks for a complex program portfolio, including direct influence over resourcing decisions, planning cadence, and stakeholders. Manage a team of ~4 TPMs as the TPM manager for Workspace Search and Workspace Intelligence, and own the program management for a team of ~200 SWEs. Drive mission‑critical success for GenAI programs and ensure the execution of a rich portfolio including AI, 1P/2P/3P programs, and infrastructure projects.
