Human Resources Analyst

We are currently seeking candidates to fill an HR Analyst position available in the Human Resources Section. The HR Analyst will work within the HR team to provide recruitment and employment support to nearly 30 distinct sections of the Attorney General’s Office. The successful candidate will have a passion for public service, an ability to build relationships, and an enthusiastic attitude. This position will work a hybrid in-person/remote schedule. The headquarters location is: 30 E. Broad St. Columbus, OH. Responsibilities Partner with section leadership through multiple functions to deliver HR capabilities, structures, and processes. Partner with Training and Development, Payroll, and Benefits to serve employees’ needs. Build strong relationships with section leaders. Provide ongoing support and recommendations to assigned section leaders as needed/appropriate. Coach and develop Managers/Supervisors to become more effective. Support, implement, and sustain Human Resource strategies, programs, and initiatives to attract, develop, and retain the very best employees; serve as the primary recruiter for assigned sections. Partner with leaders on employee relations issues, including providing fact-based, consistent feedback. Interpret and answer policy and HR-related questions consistently. Facilitate exit interviews; identify trends and provide proactive solutions to mitigate unwanted turnover. Facilitate New Hire Orientation, providing a "wow" experience for new employees. Qualifications Completion of an undergraduate core program in human resources, business, or public administration. Or at least 2 (two) years’ experience in human resources or a comparable professional role.
