We are excited to bring a versatile cafe attendant to our Constellation team at Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton NJ. As a Constellation Cafe attendant, you will have the opportunity to serve a diverse clientele daily, providing delicious food and beverage items and friendly customer service. Compensation: $16 an hour.

What you'll be doing:

• Communicate with colleagues during the service
• Participate in running of an efficient and profitable operation in the areas for which you are responsible for
• Assist the Manager consistently achieve the service and product delivery standards with a high degree of client care and service at all times
• Oversee the operation and set-up a station/section
• Coordinate the service of food and beverage efficiently and accurately
• Report and follow up all maintenance defaults affecting efficient and professional delivery of service
• Respond proactively to guest queries, ensuring that appropriate action is taken in the absence of the manager/assistant, followed by effective communication
• Perform and check all duties related to cafe opening/closing check list
• Perform all other related duties as assigned by management

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and computer skills
• Knowledge of food storage and safety procedures

Nice-to-haves:

• At least one years' experience in a foodservice environment
• At least one years' prior experience in a commissary program
