Hours: 40 hours/week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hours/day, 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.

Job Duties: Set, operate and maintain farm equipment in order to cultivate, fertilize, harvest and haul grain including corn, soybean and alfalfa crops. General farm-related duties such as shop work, equipment servicing, and facility/grounds maintenance and upkeep.

Crops: Alfalfa, Corn, Soybeans, Sugar beets

Drug Free Workplace. Employer reserves the right to conduct employer-paid post-hire upon-suspicion and/or post-accident drug testing. Any employee who declines to take or fails a drug test will be immediately terminated.

Minimum Education Required

No High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum Experience Required

Three (3) months of agricultural equipment operation experience required. Applicants must furnish verifiable job references or comparable third-party documentation from recent employers to establish acceptable prior experience.

Workers must have a valid, insurable driver's license or be eligible to apply (within 30 days) for same at no cost to the worker. Will be asked to drive vehicles for transporting workers, goods, or commodities on company business.

Worker must be able to lift items weighing fifty (50) pounds.

Worker must be able to perform work that requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing or pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements.

$19.33 / Hourly

Additional Compensation

Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any seasonal worker employed under this job order, at the company's sole discretion, based on individual factors including but not limited to work performance, skill, and tenure.

As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

Job Benefits

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.

Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
