Procedural Area Responsibilities: Assesses/reassesses young adult, adult, and elderly patients and applies the nursing process to: Demonstrates basic competency in specialized procedures/equipment, i.e. • Care of and/or recovery of patient pre/post interventional cardiac procedures • Care of and/or recovery of patient pre/post electrophysiology procedures • Care of and/or recovery of patient pre/post interventional radiology procedures • Care of patients with vascular closure devices: application, maintenance, removal and post care. • Assist with Vascular Procedures, including IVC Filters, Run-Offs, Acute and Chronic Occlusions • Maintain/Pull Arterial and/or Venous Sheaths • ACT Machine • Assist with Peripheral Balloons and Stents • Assist with Thermodilution and Invasive Monitoring • Assist with IVUS procedures • Assist with Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures • Assist with FFR (Fraction Flow Reserve) Procedures • Assist with Electrophysiology “EP” Procedures • Assist with RF Ablations • Assist with Cryoablations • Assist with insertion of Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, maintenance and trouble shoot • Assist with Loop Recorder Insertion • Assist with ICDs, Pacemakers (Temporary and Permanent) • Assist with Spectranetics Laser • Synchronized Cardioversion/Defibrillation • Pain management and follow-up pain reassessment • Anaphylactic Reactions: Monitor for, manage, and use of anaphylactic kit • MAC Lab System Monitoring

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE: Associate's degree in nursing required. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. RN license required. CPR required BLS, ACLS, NIHSS EKG required. 2 years experience required, 5 years preferred.
Travel Experience Required.
