Job Summary

Dream Clean Car Wash is a quickly expanding car wash chain in the Chicagoland area. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with an incredible wash at a great price. We are looking to hire a talented and ambitious District Manager to oversee the operations of multiple car wash locations in the Northwest Suburbs. The District Manager will be focused on leading site leads, driving operational performance, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving revenue and profitability targets across all assigned locations.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Oversee daily operations across multiple locations
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual P&L objectives
• Drive revenue and profitability at each site
• Monitor KPIs and other performance metrics
• Identify market opportunities and contribute to expansion or competitive strategies in your region

Team Leadership

• Establish clear performance and accountability expectations across all locations
• Recruit, train, mentor, and develop General Managers and Assistant Managers
• Resolve escalated customer issues and support teams in offering amazing customer service
• Ensure customer satisfaction at each site.
• Educate team on all appropriate HR policies, labor laws, and safety and security procedures.
• Ensure compliance at the site level.
• Ensure each site follows all approved safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multi-unit management experience in car wash, retail, automotive services, or similar industries.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive business results across multiple locations.
• Strong operational knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to motivate and hold teams accountable.
• Working knowledge of P&L management, scheduling, labor planning, and supply ordering.
• Comfortable with frequent travel between sites and flexible working hours as needed.
• Ability to learn in-depth car wash and maintenance functions.
• Committed to working a 55+ hour work week including days, nights, and weekends when necessary.
• Basic understanding and knowledge of car wash equipment systems.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Exposure to outside weather conditions.
• Frequently exposed to moderate to loud noise.
• Ability to perform repeated bending, kneeling, twisting, and overhead reaching.
• Frequently lift between 5 to 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand for an entire shift.
• Available to work a variety of shifts and/or days of the week consistent with the demands of the retail environment which includes weekends, evenings, and other high activity periods.

Compensation/Benefits

• Salary range: $80,000-$100,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
