Job Summary:
A Physical Therapist specializing in Inpatient Acute Care is needed in Apple Valley, California. This position involves providing therapy services to adult and geriatric patients within a community-based hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their valid California license on the first day. The role offers an 8-hour shift, scheduled days from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, starting on June 16, 2026.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Days, Tuesday through Saturday, starting on 06/16/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid California Physical Therapist license, BLS certification, 1 year of recent acute care experience, EMR experience (Epic preferred)
• Additional Information:
  • Acute care experience includes assessment and treatment of patients with diagnoses such as post-orthopedic surgeries, cardiovascular conditions, strokes, and medical surgical cases.
  • Candidates must disclose license and background check results upfront; open license issues will not be approved.
  • The role requires a commitment to working three of five holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day.
  • RTO (Return To Work) requests must be included at time of submission.
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience and provide two references covering a one-year period within the past three years.
  • The position involves performing manual therapy, patient education, and using various medical equipment, including assistive devices, hospital beds, gait training tools, and oxygen supplies.
