We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced, privately-owned general dentistry office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice. This position requires an efficient, loyal, friendly, team-player! Pay: $18 - $28 per hour Requirements License & Certification: X-ray / Radiography Certification Clinical Experience: General Dentistry Years of Professional Experience: Experienced Dental assistant with 1+ years of practice Dental Assisting experience is highly favorable! Proficiency with fabricating temporary crowns. Xray certification Friendly, loyal, hard-working, team player Eaglesoft experience is a plus Job Description Assist dentists during examinations and procedures. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Utilize 3D scanners for imaging and assist with digital impressions. Fabricate temporary crowns efficiently and with attention to detail. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling, patient check-in, and check-out processes. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the clinic. No weekends. #Monday to Friday #Day shift Preferences License & Certification: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Basic life support, Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Clinical Experience: Cosmetic Dentistry, Implant Dentistry, Emergency Dentistry Years of Professional Experience: Experienced Dental assistant with 2+ years of practice Familiarity with Patterson Eaglesoft, 3D scanning Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is highly preferred, especially someone skilled and experienced in fabricating temporary crowns! Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and clinical procedures. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A commitment to providing excellent patient care and support within the dental clinic setting.
