Seeking a MedSurg RN to provide compassionate and expert care to patients in a busy medical-surgical unit. This role requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and observe for any changes or complications.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Document patient care activities thoroughly using Epic electronic charting system.
- Support unit staffing needs by floating within scope and covering assigned patients.
- RN license in South Carolina or Compact State prior to start date.
- Minimum 2 years of recent med-surg RN experience.
- BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred.
- Demonstrate proficiency in telemetry, insulin administration, and rapid response protocols.
- Ability to work 4x12-hour day shifts with every other weekend commitment.
- Willingness to float and adapt to unit needs.
